Skirt Edging-
Rnd 1: With RS facing, attach CB at seam; ch 1, sc around skirt taking care to keep work flat; join with a sl st to first sc.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, * (sc, ch 3, sc) all in first sc, skip next sc; rep from * around, adjusting if necessary at end of rnd; join. Fasten off.
Armhole Edgings: With RS facing, attach CB in first row end of a strap after the 10 underarm sts and work 1 rnd sc; join.
Rnd 2: Work same as Skirt Edging Rnd 2 EXCEPT work across straps only, not across the underarm; sl st in next sc. Fasten off.
Weave in ends. Sew snaps to snap band and Right Back. Sew 2 buttons to center front yoke.
Tie: With CB, ch 191, sl st in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Fasten off. Weave through dc of Beading Row beg and end at center front. Knot two more lengths of thread to each end of tie for tassels; trim ends.

Basic Square (make 20 in A and 18 in B): Ch 4, join with slip st to form ring.
Rnd 1 Ch 5, work (3 dc, ch 2) 3 times in ring, 2 dc in ring; join to third ch of ch-5.
Rnd 2 Slip st in next ch, ch 5 (counts as 1 dc, ch 2), 3 dc over remaining ch of ch-5 - first corner, *skip 3 dc, work (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next ch2- space - corner; repeat from * twice more, skip 3 dc, work 2 dc over slip st to complete first corner; join to third ch of ch-5.
Rnd 3 Slip st in next ch, ch 5, 3 dc over remaining ch of ch-6, *skip 3 dc, 3 dc in space between 3-dc groups, skip 3 dc, work (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in corner ch2-space; repeat from * twice more; work 3 dc in next space between 3-dc groups, work 2 dc over slip st; join to third ch of ch-5. Fasten off.
Finishing: Following diagram for jacket, join squares, sewing through back loop only of corresponding sts along adjoining edges. Fold jacket along shoulder and sew sleeve and side seams. Border Jacket Sleeve With A, crochet 2 rnds sc evenly around each sleeve edge.
Jacket Edge Starting at one side seam and A, crochet a rnd of sc all around outer edge of jacket, working 3 sc at each outer corner and decreasing at inner corners of neck as needed to keep edge flat and smooth, join to first sc. Repeat this row once more. Fasten off. Using the upper ch2-corner-space at the inner front as buttonhole, sew button on opposite side.
Hat: Crown: Ch 8, join with slip st to form ring.

Granny Square (make 4 in A and 2 in B): Ch 6, join with slip st to form ring.

Weave in all loose ends. Sew buttons opposite of button holes, starting at center front of row 13 weave ribbon under 2 dc, and over 2 dc all around tie in a bow at front center.
