الباترون مكتوب و مرسوم

25% linen, 75% viscose
A blend of linen and viscose combine to
form a truly unique and lovely yarn that
we call Firefly. This yarn is just as full of
light and whimsy as its name. The soft and
sleek viscose is toned down and given a
more earthy appearance with the addition
of linen.
Firefly is perfect for accessories and summer
garments, and although the gauge
on the ballband is 6 sts per inch, knit at a
larger gauge this yarn produces a lovely
airy fabric. This newly introduced yarn is ava
ilable in 10 amazing saturated and almost
metallic colors.

by Classic Elite (75% viscose, 25% linen;
50 gram ball = approx 155 yards)
• 2 balls 7766 Sicily
Needles:
• One pair size US 5 (3.75 mm)
Or size to obtain gauge.
• Stitch holder or waste yarn
• Tapestry needle
GAUGE:

24 sts and 32 rows = 4" in Stockinette
Stitch; 33 sts in Lace Pattern = 4

Knit 2 sts together (1 st decreased).
yo:

Yarn over (1 st increased).
ssk: (slip, slip, knit)

Slip 2 sts, 1 at a time, knitwise

in turned position and knit them together
through the back loops (1 st decreased).
m1-l: (make 1 left slanting)

Insert LH needle
under horizontal strand between st just
****ed and next st from the front to the back,

through first st on back needle as if to purl
and slip this st off needle.
Step 4:

Bring threaded tapestry needle
through next st on back needle as if to knit
and leave st on needle.
Rep Steps 1– 4 until no sts rem on needles.

*CO 33 sts.

(RS) Begin Gtr St; **** 2 rows, end
after a WS row.

Change to Lace Patt; ****
even until 12 reps of Lace Patt have been
completed*, end after RS row 1 of the next
rep. Slip all sts to st holder or waste yarn.
Break yarn.
SECOND SIDE
Rep between *’s as for first side, end after
WS row 14. Break yarn leaving approx 18" tail
of yarn.
FINISHING
Slip sts from holder onto ****ing needle as if
preparing to **** a WS row. Thread tail onto
tapestry needle, then graft sts together using
the Kitchener St. Block pc to measurements
