اللى عندى عن انفلونزا الطيور
European vets are meeting to discuss ways of stopping the spread of Bird Flu. There are lots of headlines about the arrival of Bird Flu in Europe. Some of them are rather sensational. For example, the headline in The Sun newspaper is 'Ducks of Death'. Every winter, tens of thousands of birds and ducks migrate to the UK because of its mild winter. The article says that these birds wing their way to the UK, and 'it takes just one to bring deadly flu'. The Sun warns of the peril of the lethal virus and warns of an epidemic. It says there are no jabs to protect people. Many headlines say that the epidemic is a case of 'if not when'.
The virus found in birds in Romania and Turkey has not yet affected any humans, but scientists talk about the virus mutating, and jumping species from birds to humans.
