Dear Oprah
I am one woman of many Muslim women who feel offended by one episode of your show
Where you show Saudi women as week, has no rights, and badly treated by men.
That practically incident and similar ones are strongly not approved in my community
as well as in Islam. We are proud to be Saudi and Muslims. Women in my country
are well respected by men ,you can see that every place you go to . Our rights are
well taking care of in Islam if you read about it you will see that very clear. I know
that many people know nothing about Islam but false things.
We know that Oprah is an honest ,fair person and we admire these qualities you have.
Therefore, we believe that you should of done more researches before showing the
millions of fans that wrong , bad image of Saudi Muslim woman.

Dear Oprah,
Asalamo Alaykom (means: Peace be upon you; this is the salutation that Islam taught us.).
I’m a big fan of your show and I like your ideas and what you do and say to help people learn new and different things in life. I watch your show through MBC4 channel which is one of an Arabic network broadcasted in the middle east. I’m A Muslim lady who got offended by one of your shows. Yes, I was really offended. The show was about women throughout the world, and you tried to let people of your nation know more about these women. I don’t know on what bases you selected that part where you talked about Muslim women.
The whole show was talking positively somehow on women from other nations, but when it comes to a Muslim country, you selected a negative picture about Muslims.
Your show is well watched all over the world. When people see what you have shown concerning Rania Albaz, they’ll have a very bad idea about Islam and Muslims. That was an exceptional case and even if it is a familiar one, it doesn’t have to do with Islamic instructions.
I really hope that when you show your audience anything, that you read about what you are going to present. Objectivity is the keyword for success.
Oprah, We love you so much and we don’t want you to present the worst of us. If the whole show is about bad people, then we won’t be angry, you know what I mean?
I have a last request from you:
Please Oprah, read about Islam. Don’t see what Muslims do, and just make judgments based on what you see. Not all Muslims are truly Muslims. When you get to know Islam, I think that your ideas will change to the better. Just have a look on any trusted Islamic book and you won’t lose anything.
