فهو أمر معقد ومتعدد الأوجه ، وغير واضح المعالم ، فأغلب حالات إدمان المراهقين تكون على النيكوتين ، والمنبّهات ، والكحول ، والحشيش
.
ورغم سهولة الحصول على هذه المواد ورخصها إلا أن آثارها السلبية شديدة ، حيث تؤدي إلى مشاكل في التنفس ، وتدمير الخلايا العصبية ، والتخلف العقلي ، ثم تدهور عام في الصحة ، وخرف مبكر ، ثم الوفاة .
الدوافع والآثار
1 - الاستعداد الوراثي خاصة في حالة وجود عدوانية .
2 - إدمان الوالدين أو أحد أفراد الأسرة ، والحرمان العاطفي الأسري .
3 - سوء التربية وضعف مستوى تدين الأسرة .

It is very complicated , has many sides and not clear. Most of the teenagers addiction states are to nicotine,alertness,alcohol and marijuana , .
Although getting these substances cheaply and easily ,but their negative side effects are serious. They cause problems on breath. They destroy the nerves. They cause mental disorders. Then a general heath collapse ,
parkinson and death.
Causes and effects:
1-Genetic readiness especially with anger.
2-Parents addiction or any member of the family and lacking of family care.
3-Bad raising and weakness in the level of the family religion.
