السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته...
نصيحتي لكم أخواتي معلمات اللغة الإنجليزية..كالآتي:
i do not prefer for English teachers to talk in Arabic at all. This will not teach the students anything in English it will only make them depend on their language. Ok. The students themselves can translate (and that would be their preparation) at home. What you can do as a teacher is to bring instructional materials as much as you can to help you so the word can fit with the picture or the object you mentioned in class.
Another good way is the teacher herself}}}She can be a very good instructional material by using gestures(hand and face expressins)and moving all around in class!!!!
A Good English teacher must be a TALKATIVE ACTIVE FUN and CREATIVE teacher>>>>

yes we should use english as much as possible.. HOWEVER.. what if u're trying to tell the students what to do.. or how to do a task?? or what if they know merely nothing in english?? for sure some arabic at the beginning gonna help them a lot.. at least to know the meaning of what the teacher usually says.. graduallay arabic is reduced and english is being used more often.. I think it's fine as long as the teacher's main goal is heading to better use of english by the students :)
