The second day, Rosa went to Jess in her house..
Rosa: well, how was the date?
Jess: it was ok, i guess.
Rosa: wasn't John handsome enough?
Jess: are you kidding? He's handsome enough to be a movie star.
Rosa: wasn't he smart enough?
Jess: i don't think i've ever met such an intelligent man. And he's so funny. I had such a great time.
Rosa: then what's the problem?
Jess: he's so busy, i don't think he has enough time for me. He has so many hobbies and interests.
Rosa: that's silly. If he likes you, he'll make time for you.
Jess: that's not the real problem, anyway.
Rosa: i'm so confused. What's the problem?
Jess: i'm sure he doesn't like me. He's so active and interesting. I'm just not exciting enough. I think i'm too dull for him.
Rosa: John asked me not to tell you this but...
Jess: you've spoken with him since last night?
Rosa: yes. He called me early this morning because he was so excited. He really liked you. He can't wait to see you again. But he's afraid you may not like him! He thinks he talked too much.
Jess: that's funny. I was so sure he wouldn't be interested in me.
Rosa: you're always so negative! You don't have enough confidence in yourself.
Jess: this is so exciting! Oh well, i'm sure he'll change his mind on the second date.
Rosa: jess!
