this is a 5-year-old child who was seen once in our clinic back in november 2010. at that time, the child was 10 years old with language delay and multiple symptomatology suggestive of possible autistc spectrum disorder. he was screened using the social communication questionnaire which revealed multiple worrisome traits that are suggestive of autism spectrum disorder. the child,s examination at that time was significant for poor eye to eye contact and sociability, however, no neurological deficits were seen. we requested multiple investigations including CBC, renal profile, hepatic profile and brain evoked auditory potential and EEG which were normal. fragile X testing was also normal. the child is
scheduled to be seen again in september 2012
