1- Birth and Childhood .
Prophet Muhammad was born in 750 C.E. ( Christian Era. ) in Makkah, Which is located in present day Saudi Arabia. His genealogy has been traced back to Ishmael the son of Abraham who is called the father of prophets .Prophet Muhammad was born as an orphan, since his father, Abdullah, died before his birth . Likewise, when he was six years old, his mother, Amina Bint Wahb, died , leaving Muhammad as an orphan . His grandfather Abdul Muttalib , the leader of Quraish, took care of him , but he also died when the Prophet was eight years old. The Prophet's uncle, Abu Talib ,then took custody of him and became his guardian. His uncle treated the prophet very well. He even took him to Syria on a trading journey when he was twelve years old. While in Syria , a Christian monk called Bahira told Abu Talib that his nephew would be a prophet sent to all people .
2- Youth and Manhood .
As a young man, Muhammad (peace be upon him ) was never involved in any act of polytheism as were the Makkans. On the contrary, even at a young age , he despised the idols and their worship. He was an honest, trustworty man. The people of Makkah used to call him Alamin ( the trustworthy) and Alsaadiq the Truthful, even before he was ordained as a prophet. He always honored his promises and took care of the widows, the orphans and the weak.
3- Marriage .
When he was twenty-five, he took another trip to syria. This time, it was a business trip for Khadijah, a rich and noble woman. She entrusted him with her money after she heard about his dependability and truthfulness. After Muhammad's return from Syria, Khadijah sent a proposal of marriage to him and he agreed. She was forty years oldm whereas he was twenty-five

ولد الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم في عام 750 ميلادي في مكة والموجودة حاليا في المملكة العربية السعودية. ينحدر الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم من سلالة إسماعيل ابن إبراهيم عليهما السلام وكان يطلق على إبراهيم عليه السلام بأبو الأنبياء. لقد ولد محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم يتيما وذلك بعد وفاة أبيه. وبعد أن بلغ السادسة من عمره, توفيت أمه أمنة بنت وهب فأصبح يتيم الأب والأم. قام جده عبد المطلب وهو من كبار قريش برعايته ولكنه توفي عندما بلغ محمد عليه الصلاة والسلام الثامنة من عمره. ثم تولى عم النبي عليه السلام رعايته وأصبح الوصي عليه. كان عمه يعامل النبي عليه السلام معاملة حسنة فكان يصطحبه إلى الشام في رحلة تجارية عندما بلغ الحادية عشر من عمره. وهناك أبلغ قس نصراني يدعى بهيرة أبا طالب بأن ابن أخيه سيصبح نبيا مرسلا لجميع الناس.

عندما بلغ محمد عليه الصلاة والسلام الخامسة والعشرين من عمره, ذهب إلى الشام في رحلة تجارية لخديجة رضي الله عنها وهي امرأة نبيلة وغنية. أودعت إليه أموالها بعد أن سمعت بأمانته. بعد أن رجع محمد عليه السلام من الشام, عرضت عليه خديجة رضي الله عنها الزواج منها فوافق وكان عمرها حينذاك الأربعين أما محمد فقد كان في الخامسة والعشرين من عمره.
