well, lets begin with my city Ottawa.
in ottawa we have two Universities, Carleton, and Ottawa U
Carleton is famous for its engeneering programs and ottawa U for science and medicine but it has alot of other programs too of course. Life here is very safe peaceful, and stable.
Ottawa has a large arabic community they are from all over the arab world.
Ottawa is more expensive in rent than quebec (which includes montreal)
they rent varies of course... if yo uare looking for lets say a three bedroom house it will probably be about anywhere form 1000 and up depends
as for daycare the costw would be from$ 700-maybe 900 perchild
the older the child is the less expensive it gets. My boy is three years now, and we pay about 840 a month.
You also have the option of home care whichis less expensive than a center.
Junior kindergarten is about 3 hours a day i think( i still don't have an experience), and it starts at age 4 if your child truns 4 by december 31 of the year whichis the case with me
grade one is at 6 years and its a full time so that's till 230pm..
People here are generally kind and friendly.
There are many mosques here (mashallah_ and there are arabic stores as well.
I don't think you will feel strange.
