Cut 9 inches of elastic for body. Cut 12 inches elastic for each leg. Cut 10 inches elastic for each arm. Tie body elastic to bottom of head. Place collar on first; then, alternating colors in order of yellow, purple, red and blue, push all body circles onto body.

*Attach foot to bottom of leg elastic. Place ruffle on elastic first; then, alternating in order (yellow, purple, red and blue) 5 times, place leg circles into leg elastic. Secure leg elastic to bottom of body. Rep from *once for 2nd leg.

*Attach hand to bottom of arm elastic. Place ruffle on elastic first; then, alternating in order (yellow, purple, red and blue) 3 times, place arm circles onto arm elastic. Secure arm elastic to body elastic between collar and first yellow body circle. Rep from * once for 2nd arm.

Hair
Hair is worked in rem free lp of forehead over top, sides and back of head. Attach blue yarn to rem free lp of head, (ch 12, sc in next free lp) rep over top, sides and back of head.

Facial Features

Pupils - Cut 2 circles (size of a dime or a teeny bit smaller) from white felt.
Eyes - Cut 2 circles (size of a nickle) from blue felt.
Nose - Cut 1 circle (size of a nickle) from red felt.
Eyelashes - Cut 4 small triangles from yellow felt. (I seldom use these.)
Mouth - Cut one shape of stretched out boomerang with circle at each end from red felt.
