Divide for Neck and Left Strap: Work same as Right Back from ** to **.
Right Strap: With RS facing, skip center 10 (14, 18) sts of Front, join CA and sc in last 6 sc; turn. Work even in sc until strap measures same as Left Strap.
Left Back: With WS facing, skip next 10 sts on last long row, join CA and sc in last 13 (15, 17) sc; turn. Dec 1 st at end of next 2 RS rows – 11 (13, 15) sts. Work 5 rows even in sc. Fasten off. With RS facing, skip first 5 (7, 9) sc, attach CA and sc in last 6 sc; turn. Complete same as for Right Back.
Snap Band: With RS facing, attach CA at first row of yoke on Left Back; ch 1, work 14 sc to neck edge; turn. Work 3 rows even in sc. Fasten off.
FINISHING: Sew strap seams. Sew back seam to within 1" of yoke.
Neck Edging: With RS facing, attach CB at top of Snap Band; ch 1, work sc around neck opening and down right back edge of yoke, taking care to keep work flat. Fasten off.
Skirt Edging-
Rnd 1: With RS facing, attach CB at seam; ch 1, sc around skirt taking care to keep work flat; join with a sl st to first sc.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, * (sc, ch 3, sc) all in first sc, skip next sc; rep from * around, adjusting if necessary at end of rnd; join. Fasten off.
Armhole Edgings: With RS facing, attach CB in first row end of a strap after the 10 underarm sts and work 1 rnd sc; join.
Rnd 2: Work same as Skirt Edging Rnd 2 EXCEPT work across straps only, not across the underarm; sl st in next sc. Fasten off.
Weave in ends. Sew snaps to snap band and Right Back. Sew 2 buttons to center front yoke.
Tie: With CB, ch 191, sl st in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Fasten off. Weave through dc of Beading Row beg and end at center front. Knot two more lengths of thread to each end of tie for tassels; trim ends.
