Materials:
1/2 oz. red worsted weight yarn
1/2 oz. green worsted weight yarn
Size H crochet hook
Gauge: 2 rnds dc=1"
Size: 5" tall
Notes: To increase, work 2 dc into 1 dc. To decrease, work 1 dc over 2 dc. Evenly space increases and decreases around work.
Before I threaded my drawstring, I turned my berry sack inside out, as I thought the wrong side of the work looked more berry-textured. It's fine either way, however.
Rnd 1: With red, ch 4, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring, ch 3, 11 dc in ring, join w sl st in top of ch 3 (12 dc).
Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc in each dc around, increasing 3 times, join as before (15 dc).
Rnd 3: Ch 3, dc in each dc around, increasing 5 times, join as before (20 dc).
Rnd 4: Ch 3, dc in each dc around, increasing 6 times, join as before (26 dc).
Rnds 5-7: Ch 3, dc in each dc around, join as before (26 dc).
Rnd 8: Ch 3, dc in each dc around, decreasing 6 times, join as before, fasten off (20 dc).
Rnd 9: Join green w sl st in 1st dc of Rnd 8, ch 3, 4 dc in same dc, 5 dc in next dc and in each dc around, join as before, fasten off (100 dc).
Drawstring: With green, ch 65, fasten off. Starting and ending at front center, weave drawstring through Rnd 8 of sack.
Weave in ends.
