Felting Instructions
Put strap and bag in pillow case or mesh bag and wash (with a few other articles) in hot wash cycle of washing machine. Check feltedness and repeat if necessary. Allow to dry for at least 24 hours (probably 48). Insert small juice glasses into bottle pockets to stretch to fit.
Construction
Assemble bag as per diagram, using whatever kind of stitch you prefer on seams, pocket attachment and bottle pocket seams.
Using progressively larger crochet hooks, poke holes where indicated by circle and insert straps, tying ends into knot at the side.

Attach ghost to front of bag by clipping two lengths of orange yarn. Tie one length around the ghost, just below the head, through the bag. Tie into a bow at center front under head. Tie the 2nd length around the tail of ghost,working the length through the bag. Tie into a bow at center front. Glue eyes to face of ghost.
These cute little bags can be used for holding Halloween favors for a party or candy! Another ghost can be made and attached to the back of bag, or use as fridgies!

Ashley's Chic Purse
My daughter and I designed this purse and she crocheted the entire thing. She is 10 and is a crochet fanatic like her Mom!!! Great job Ashley! I love you!
Materials Needed: Light blue and dark blue worsted weight yarn, H hook, button, sewing needle
Directions:
With Light Blue and H hook
ch 33
Round 1 - hdc in 2nd ch from hook and in each remaining ch, continuing around the back side of the ch working 1 hdc in each st on the back side of the ch (66 hdc)
Round 2-6 - hdc in each st around using a stitch marker to mark the first st of each row. Do not fasten off , just drop light blue and join dark blue with a sl st
Round 7-10 - hdc in each st around with dark blue, at the end of row 10 drop and cut dark blue and pick up light blue with a sl st
Round 11 - 27 - hdc in each st around
making the flap: at the end of round 27 your purse will be square, crochet just to the corner to make a perfect square, ch1 and turn, hdc all the way across to next corner, ch 1 turn (this should be 33 hdc)
Row 1-7 hdc in each st across, ch 1 turn, at end of round 7, hdc in next 16 sts, ch 3, hdc in last 16 sts, Fasten off light blue.
Strap : ch 100 or desired length, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each remaining ch, fasten off leaving a length of yarn to sew with. Sew strap to purse.
Sew button on purse.
