When the sun shines, the heat of it makes tiny drops of water evaporate from the sea. They rise into the sky and sometimes form clouds. The clouds are sometimes blown over the land. When the drops become too heavy, the rain falls. Some of the water drains underground. It moves slowly downhill over hard rock to the sea. Some is used in wells & oases. It is used for drinking, washing and irrigating the land.
