With yarn and large tapestry needle, whipstitch squares together holding right sides together, stitching thru the back bars of each stitch, to form a long strip.EdgingRound 1: Sc around in each stitch, working 23 sc along the side of each square, increasing by 1 stitche on each corner, (each corner should end up with a 2 sc group after increases), fasten off. You should end up with 510 sc. It is important to get this number of stitches for the next round.




Round 2: Attach yarn with a sl st in the second sc of 2sc group in corner. (You will be working a short end first). Repeat from , join with sl st, fasten off. There will be a total of 64 fans, 3 on each end and 29 along each side.FringeCut 60 pieces of yarn 16" long.
Using 10 strands for each fringe, attach between the 5th & 6th trc on each fan.
(Fold lengths of yarn in half to forma loop, pull loop thru between stitches, pull yarn ends thru this loop. Tug on them a bit to secure.) Do this on both ends for a total of 6 fringe. Trim to even up fringe if neccesary.Weave in any leftover yarn ends and block if needed.
