I think you guys said enough about how to memorize new words, I like all the ways you just mention but I want to change the subject alittle bit. I think the best way to increase your vocab is to is keep an english-english dictionary next to me and look up any word I find difficult while reading a book or watchin' TV.....I try to never leave a word until I look it up. then list 'em in a piece of paper and stick it over your bed in your room, once you wake up read it or at least just give a glance, believe me it gonna be a part of you mind, I still use it. try to read english newspapers , dont look up each new word otherwise you will get fed up but underline the word that you face more than one time and try to guess its meaning, after stoppin' reading look up the underlined words and add 'em, to you bed-list

مثل ما قالو البنات دفتر صغير
1- اذا طلعتي من البيت خلي في شنطتج دفتر صغير ، اذا شفت في الشارع أو المستشفى أي كلمة ما عرفتيها اكتبيها و بعدين ترجميها بالعربي ( طريقة ممتازة لاستغلال الوقت و انتي في السيارة )، و عقب سوي مراجعة يوميه ( يعني احفظي اليوم خمس كلمات ، و اليوم الثاني احفظي خمس كلمات+ مراجعة كلمات اليوم اللي قبله) .
2- الأفضل انه يكون وياج English – English dictionary و يكون نوعه Thesaurus dictionary
3- الاكثار من قراءة القصص الانجليزية.
4- مشاهدة الأخبار و البرامج التي تعرض باللغة الانجليزية.
( و حولي انج ما تقرين الترجمة )
و أفضل طريقة بالنسبالي هي الأولى
