Robinson Crusoe is a novel written by Daniel Defoe. It was first published in 1719, and is considered the first novel in english.There are many climactic moments,the most important one is the discovery of the footprint. Robinson Crusoe feared when he saw the footprint because he thought no one other than himself inhabited the island. He thought of many possibilities,one of them being the devil.He then reads the bible and prays to God to comfort him. Even though he wishes to see other people on the island,he is fearful of the footprint.
