Round 2: ss in first ch 3 space. Beg DC Cluster, ch 3 DC cluster in same space. In next and each remaining ch 3 space do : DC Cluster- ch 3- DC Cluster. Join with a sl slt to top of Beg dc Cluster. (12 cluster and 12 ch 3 spaces)
Round 3: Repeat round 2. (at the end of this round you will have 24 cluster and 24 ch 3 spaces.
Round 4: sl st if 1st ch 3 space. Ch 3, 2 dc in same sp. Do 3 dc in each ch 3 space around. Join with a sl st to 3rd ch of beginning ch 3. (72 DC).
Finish off first one and weave in all ends. After completing 2nd piece, DO NOT FINISH OFF.
Joining:
Round 1: With wrong sides facing each other and matching up stitches, join the two pieces together with a sl st. ch 1 and sc in same space. sc in each dc around making sure to go through both pieces. Inster a cd about 1/2 way through the joing. Join with a sl st to first sc.
Round 2: ch 4 (counts as 1st dc and ch 1 space) dc in same stitch. skip next sc. *v-stitch in next stitch, skip next sc* Repeat * around. Join with a sl st to 3rd ch of beg ch 4.
Round 3: ch 3, dc in skipped sc of previous row. *ch3, dc in skipped sc of previous row* Repeat * around. Join.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
