Q1 / processing an order :

When an order is received , the details of the order are recorded and the customer given a reference code if they do not already have one . Requisitions are produced giving the stores and production people the information needed to draw stock and produce the shirts . An invoice is also produced, one copy filed, the other passed to despatch. When the shirts are ready, they are passed to despatch alone with the requisition. The shirts are checked against both requisitions and invoice. If every thing is ok , the shirts are packed and despatch along with the invoice – this acts as a delivery note for customers who have already paid . The requisitions are filed.
