السلام عليكم و رحمة اله و بركاته

Assalam Alaikum Wa Rahmatu ALLAH Wa Barakatuh
Although I typed this recipe last night but it seems it has been taken from the list for no apparent reason. I hope this will not disappear.:42:
skinless almonds 200g
caster sugar 1/3 cup
icing sugar 1/3 cup
ground cinnamon 3 teaspoons
plain flour 3/4 cup
egg whites 2
Vanilla Icing
icing sugar 1 2/3 cups
egg white 1
vanilla essence 1 teaspoon
(1) Place almonds, sugars, cinnamon and flour in food processor and pulse mix until fine and crumbly.
(2) Add egg whites and mix for 1 min and a soft dough is formed.
(3) Knead on a floured surface for 1 min and roll between two plastic sheets to 5 mm thickness.
(4) Cut into shapes with biscuit cutter and bake for no more than 20 mins at 150C or until golden. Leave them to cool.
(5) ICING
Mix icing sugar with egg white and vanilla essence until a firm paste is formed.
(6) Spread all biscuits with this icing and let to set.
***Suggestion ***
Why not sprinkle the top with some roasted and crushed almonds before the icing sets.
As I said before, this recipe has been taken from Family Circle magazine.
I hope all of you will like it.
