Idioms used in conversation
First, I should explain the meaning of Idiom in Arabic .
Idioms: العبارة الاصطلاحيه: عبارة ذات معنى لا يمكن ان يستمد من مجرد فهم معاني كلماتها منفصله (( يعني مثل الاستعاره ))
When you are having a conversatio, fixed expressions and idioms will link your ideas and show the listener(s) that you are making a new point, disagreeing etc. Using these phrases gives you time to think about what you are going ti say next, and helps your listeners to know what they can expect and so understand your argument better.
