Dear Banat Hawaaa ....
this is the first time for me to initiate a topic, i am having my wedding in july in shaa ALLAH, i really need to lose 20 pounds (not kilos) in shaa ALLAH .... I will do it slimfast way, to those who don't know it ... it is just a meal replacement shake ... you can replace it with your own shake if you want.... the main idea of this diet is portion control and feel commitment .... no special ingredient required .....
i will start 1 May 2010 and go on till the end of june, i will post everyday my weight and what i am eating and i hope there will be some of banat hawaaa habaybeee who can share me this experiment ....
to be honest ... i bing alot, that is when i am stressed or study or as i am now very worried about my wedding .... i go and eat chocolate and other comfort food even if i am not hungry ... this is really bad .....
so i now tawakalt ala ALLAH and will in shaa ALLAH commit myself to this plan where i can eat every thing i want but with control
now the plan will be 3-2-1 ....
3 ---- means each day you will eat three snacks, each one is from 100 to 150 calories .... this can be veggies, fruits, even chocolate bar ... the important thing is that the calorie count for each should not exceed 150 calories ....
2 ---- means each day you will have two shakes each one is maximum 200 calories ... i use slimfast shake but you can do your own ... use skim milk and shake power ... the idea is that the cup will be maximum 200 calories ... the good thing about shakes is that it keeps you full for couple of hours or even more
1 ---- means you can have one balanced meal may be at dinner or lunch you are the only one who can control this ... the maximum calories is 500, this means you can eat protien (chicken, meat, fish, eggs) with salad (may be with dressing) and rice or pasta or even break ... you can eat potato with sauce ... the idea is 500 calories for this meal
see there is not starvation ... you control everything ,,, no recipe but it is just a way to control the portion of calories we are taking everyday to be around 1200 calories ... by time you will less hunger and less craving ...there is no takhbess coz simply there is no plan or specific food you need to each ... this is just to make it easier to arrange what we are eating daily ....
we also need to walk 30 minutes minimum each day and drink alot of what
