BAG: With Green - ch 15.
Row 1: Counting loop on hook as first st, draw up a loop in 2nd ch from hook & each ch across. 15 loops on hook.
To Work Off Loops: Yo & through first loop, * yo & through 2 loops, repeat from * across until all loops are worked off. One loop rems to count as first st of next row.
Row 2: Draw up a loop in vertical bar of next st, draw up a loop in each vertical bar across, inserting hook through double loop of last st to keep edge straight. work off loops same as on Row 1. Repeating Row 2 for pat, work * 2 rows each of Purple, Scarlet, Bright Yellow, Green, repeat from * end with 3rd Yellow stripe.
With Yellow, sl st in each vertical bar across, fasten off. Fold in half & sew sides tog. Cut one 10" strand of each color. Fold in half & draw through corner then draw ends through loop & tighten. Make same tassel at other side. Join Scarlet to top of seam, * ch 1, skip 1, 1 dc in next st, repeat from * around top, Join & fasten. With Purple - ch 110. Fasten off. Draw through eyelets at top, sew ends tog.
BELT: With Yellow - ch 8. work same as bag on 8 sts in 2 rows each of Yellow, Scarlet, Purple, Green to desired length. Sl st across last row. Fasten off.
Fringe: Cut two 22" strands. Loop through every other st on each short and in colors as shown

Repeat rows 3-5 until desired length is achieved.
Fasten off and weave in loose ends

Pin belt at corners and steam with iron to block. Fully wet belt with steam and allow to dry.
(Optional) Instead of blocking with steam iron, saturate belt in spray starch or liquid starch to add stiffness to belt. Pin belt at corners and allow to dry.
Sew circle to end of belt, see photo for placement.
Attach 9mm loop to keychain ring and belt. See photo for assistance.

Materials
2 x 50gm balls Jo Sharp Soho Summer 100% Cotton DK , Shade 225 (Umber)
100m (109 yds) = 50g ball
1x 4mm Crochet hook
1x 3.5mm Crochet Hook
Standard Tension for this yarn is 22.5 sts & 30 rows measured over 10cm of Stocking stitch using 4mm (US #6) needles.
Measurements
This belt is worked from side to side, so can be any length needed. The belt shown in the photo measures 30 inches

Pattern

Using yarn doubled and 3.5mm hook, join yarn to top edge of belt. Work 1 dc (sc) *3 ch miss 2 ch, wk 1 dc (sc) rep from * to end. This forms the chain loops - if there ar not enough sts at the end of the row to make a loop work a dc (sc) into remaining sts.
Repeat for other side.
Tie
Using yarn doubled and 3.5mm hook, make a ch of 170 sts. Fasten off.
Finishing
Darn in all ends. Thread tie through loops as shown.
