Vocabulary words: Cat, Cookie, Car, Carrot, Cake, Dog, Dinosaur, Doll, Duck ****sheets/Activities : • Saturday-  Colour the letter D ****sheet • Sunday- Colouring sheets for letter C • Monday- Colouring sheets for vocabulary letter D • Tuesday-  colouring sheet for vocabulary words for letter d-Self • Wednesday- Naming Vocabulary words we learned this week.  Identifying words using picture card.   Story at the end of each lesson:  “The Enormous Turnip” Using teacher made big cards in sequence   RECESS/PE-  Playing “Duck Duck Goose” and Playground play 10:30am-11:15 MATH “I Have a Little Turtle”, “1 Little, 2 Little, 3 Little fingers..”, “The Beehive” (songs all week for memory and recognition).   Number 2 Rhyme and counting objects 1-5 ****sheets /Activities • Saturday: Tracing number 2 ****sheets and learning correct technique to write a 2.  Continue talking about a Square • Sunday/Monday:  Self writing number 2 with teacher support.  Counting objects in sets of 2’s.  Colouring obejcts using yellow • Tuesday: In group identifying quantities 1 and 2 and counting objects 1-5.   • Wednesday:  Colour counters active game in the gym All Week: Talking about body parts that come in sets of 2’s: 2 eyes, 2 ears, 2 legs, 2 hands, 11:15am-11:45am Library/ Computers- Playing computer games 11:45am-12:00pm Fine Motor/Sensory skills Leaning to use scissors (one to one in small groups of 3)   Making beads using clay – Baking the beads, painting the beads and using them to lace a necklace   Duck Craft-  Making a duck using yellow tissue paper, cardboard, flue, eyes, and other collage materials 12:00pm-12:30pm FINE ARTS Making foot prints Making foot prints using plaster of paris and playdough.  Painting our foot prints and glazing using clear glue.   12:30pm-1:00pm LUNCH TIME 1:00pm-1:30pm REST TIME 1:30pm-1:45pm Social studies/Science MY BODY- Repeat major body parts and their usage using flash cards.  Comparing hand sizes, foot sizes, height and weight- Charting results in the room.  Children’s prints are traced and cut and then displayed for visual comparison. 1:45pm-2:15pm Learning Centres Learning Centers: Sand play, wooden blocks, Manipulative toys, Drama and Block Centre- Children are asked which area they want to play in.  Wipe off face mats- children use playdough to make different faces.  Matching body parts cards and puzzles 2:15pm-2:30pm Story/Group Playing the Hockey Pockey and “Head and Shoulders Knees and Toes”.  Singing songs we learned this week
