Story at the end of each lesson:  “The Enormous Turnip” Using teacher made big cards in sequence

• Saturday: Tracing number 2 ****sheets and learning correct technique to write a 2.  Continue talking about a Square
• Sunday/Monday:  Self writing number 2 with teacher support.  Counting objects in sets of 2’s.  Colouring obejcts using yellow
• Tuesday: In group identifying quantities 1 and 2 and counting objects 1-5.  
• Wednesday:  Colour counters active game in the gym
All Week: Talking about body parts that come in sets of 2’s: 2 eyes, 2 ears, 2 legs, 2 hands,

Making foot prints using plaster of paris and playdough.  Painting our foot prints and glazing using clear glue.

MY BODY- Repeat major body parts and their usage using flash cards.  Comparing hand sizes, foot sizes, height and weight- Charting results in the room.  Children’s prints are traced and cut and then displayed for visual comparison.

Learning Centers: Sand play, wooden blocks, Manipulative toys, Drama and Block Centre- Children are asked which area they want to play in.  Wipe off face mats- children use playdough to make different faces.  Matching body parts cards and puzzles

Playing the Hockey Pockey and “Head and Shoulders Knees and Toes”.  Singing songs we learned this week
