ISLAMOPHOBIA - ITS IMPACT ON SOCIAL COHESION

Bristol Muslim Cultural Society (BMCS) in partnership with the
Asian History Project are holding a conference on the theme of
'Islamophobia: Its Impact on Social Inclusion'. The conference
will be aimed at professionals in media, employment, education
and social policy and will feature speakers from around the UK
with expertise in the above four areas.

Guest Speakers: Yvonne Ridley, Dr Tariq Modood, Yahya Birt,
Beena Faridi and Mohammed Evans.

There is a nominal booking fee of £10. Refreshments and lunch
are provided at the conference. This will be a major event for
Bristol, in line with BMCS's social cohesion strategy for the
local Muslim community and therefore we very much hope that
you will be available to lend your support. Your presence at
the conference will demonstrate a commitment to eradicating
Islamophobia and maintaining cohesive communities in our city.
