S الملكية مع الفاصلة العليا ( ' )
Apostrophe ( ' ) S
تستخدم الفاصلة العليا و هي الطريقة المختصرة و يتم من خلالها ربط المالك بالمملوك من خلال الاستغناء عن حرف الجر ( for / of ) كما يلي :
الطريقة :
1 – نحذف for – of ) ) و نضع ( 's ) في نهاية اسم المالك
مثل : (brother's - Khaled's )
2 - ثم نكتب اسم الشيء المملوك بعدها مباشرة
المملوك مثل (house– car )
حـــــــــــــــــــا لا تــــها :
1- في حالة كان المالك مفرد نضع الفاصلة قبل حرف s) ) بينما في حالة الجمع نضعها بعد حرف (s )
نفرض ان المالك : student و جمعها students
2 - في حالة الجموع الشاذة ( و هي الاسماء التى جمعها لا ينتهى بحرف s ) فاننا نعاملها معاملة المفرد
كما يلي :
نفرض الجمع الشاذ هو : children

تصبح :
The children's toys لعب الاطفال
3 - اذا كان طرفي العبارة غير عاقل , فاننا نحذف حرف الجر of دون استخدام ( s ) الملكية كما يلي :
4 - هناك حالات شاذة يكون فبها طرفي العبارة غير عاقل و نستخدم معها ( s ) الملكية كمايلي :
Today's date تاريخ اليوم
The company's office مكتب الشركة
5 - في حالة وجود اسمين متتابعين نضع حرف ( s ) في نهاية الاسم الاخير كمايلي :
Ahmed and Omar's children اولاد احمد و عمر
6 - في حالة وجود ( s ) اساسا في الاسم غير المعدود فاننا نكتفي بوضع الفاصلة :
مثل اسم Dickens كما يلي :

تصبح :

7 - عند الاشارة الى المحلات العامة نحذف الاسم التابع و نكتفي بوضع حرف ( s ) :

Safety in the Kitchen
Many foods are fried. Be careful when frying foods. When you add food to a frying pan with hot oil, the oil may splatter and burn you. When you remove food from the pan, the hot oil may burn you. Use a long handled utensil when frying food. It will decrease your chances of being burned
.
Keep panhandles turned in toward the center of the stove. Handles that stick out over the floor can cause great harm. A curious child may pull on the handle and spill hot oil all over his body.
Do not leave towels or napkins on or near the stove. These could easily start on fire. Do not wear loose clothing with floppy sleeves while cooking. Loose clothing can get caught on pan handles. It could also fall into hot grease and may start on fire.
Be very careful when frying foods. Hot oil is painful and can cause deep burns. Be sure to let the oil cool before moving the pan. The hot oil could burn you.

Stop for School Buses
We all want kids to be safe. Drivers play an important part in this effort. They need to watch for school buses and young riders. In the morning, people must be very cautious. There are many children outside waiting for buses.
Drivers must pay attention when following or meeting a bus. Flashing amber lights warn them to slow down. The bus will be stopping very soon.
Many people wait to slow down until they see the red lights or the extended stop arm. This may be too late. It is not safe to slam on the brakes. Drivers should safely stop at least 20 feet away from the bus.
Drivers need to treat the extended arm of the school bus like a regular stop sign. They must remain stopped until it is retracted. It is against the law to pass a school bus with an extended stop arm. It is against the law to drive through the extended stop arm when you meet a school bus.
Anyone can report a stop arm violation. Police officers do not need to witness the incident. Bus drivers often report unlawful drivers. Fines for breaking the stop arm law are costly. The minimum fine is $300.00. In Minnesota police have up to four hours from the time of a reported incident to find the owner of the vehicle and cite them.
