هذا العرض وطبعا اول شي نتكلم عن الكاتب,,,,,,,,, .He was the first black American to be elected to public office, in 1855. His first published poem was one of his most famous, “The Negro Speaks of Rivers”, and it appeared in Brownie`s book. Later his poems, short plays , essays and short stories appeared in the NAACP publication Crisis Magazine and in Opportunity Magazine and other publications Langston Hughes was a prolific writer, he devoted his life to writing and lecturing . وهذي القصيده واللي باللون الاحمر هي اللي انا بشرحها,,,اسمها Dream Deferred What happens to a dream deferred Does it dry up like a raisin in the sun Or fesrer like a sore -And then run Does it stink like rotten meat Or crust and sugar over-like a syrupy sweet Maybe it just sags like a heavy load Or does it explode وهذا شرح اول سطرين,,,,,,,,, “What happens to a dream deferred?”this question appears to be answered with nothing but more questions. As we look at each question we will find out which one will affects more. With each question the speaker offers a possibility of each negative effect The first one “Does it dry up like a raisin in the sun”:a raisin is already dry, and as a raisin, it is a good thing, useful and nutritious but if a raisin is left in the sun to dry up , it becomes hard and impossible to eat: its value sucked out , it no longer serves its useful, nutritional purpose The dream or life goal of a human being is central to what makes the human a valuable member of society , but suppose that person with the dream is told he cannot accomplish his goal just yet, he must wait until society changes, So, his talent will dry up, if he is not allowed to develop it. وهذا الجزء اللي بعده,,,,,,,, Or crust and sugar over— Like a syrupy sweet? The dream may “crust and sugar over— / Like a syrupy sweet?” If you leave pancake syrup or honey unused for several months, and you go back to fetch the bottle, you might find that there is crusty accrual on the top of the bottle and the contents are no longer usable The dream forced to sit idle hardens into an unusable substance of thoughts that have separated themselves from the goals and formed idle destructive thoughts that are crusted over with despair, doubt, anger, and hatred. وهذا اخر شي,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Or does it explode? In the last stanza “Or does it explode” dreams can explode and cause great destruction. These realities can kill those dreams of people who do not know how to let their dreams come true.
