Your words made my day. Thank you! Today was reaaaaaally tough. Just got back home, and let me tell you, I am emotionally and physically drained. I'm majoring in commerce / management / marketing. Well , It's not really about family, i really don't give a damn -excuse my french- , It's more about developing myself and trying to escape depression traps. Unfortunately, all I did is adding fuel to the fire. I do really think every signle day - not exaggerating- of quitting, but my husband keeps encouraging me , regardless of the stress and the endless gibberish in the so called university, the point you stated about how these first years of my daughter's life will never ever be relived -if i may say so- , is what really really bothers me ... I'll stop nagging.. How are your kids doing? My name is hanane حنان by the way, What's yours? IS it weird to have such a relaxing feeling talking to you??it's like we've know each for ages. -keeping in mind that i'm an introvert who not only sucks at making friends but doesn't look forward to making any-

my last "phrase" seems soooo mean, , misformed
what i meant is " even though i'm an introvert who not only lacks the urge to make new friendships but also finds it hard to do it!! , I enjoy talking to u and look forward to being your friend!!

Absolutely awesome last line!!!! Kinda describes me to the point. I need to be pushed out the door - literally - by my husband to go anywhere, let alone make new acquaintances. Again, I'd like to but it just doesn't happen that quickly with me. Having four kids doesn't make it any easier either.
Kids are doing well alhamdulillah. Put them in bed two hours ago and husband is visiting some friend somewhere. That equates to a lovely quiet night for me to enjoy.
You definitely speak wiser than your age mashallah and it seems like you've got your priorities in check. Stay on the positive side of matters. If your family isn't pushy and your husband is appreciative, again, don't stress school. My father finished medicine at a normal age then went back to school at an age of 48 to change majors. Then went back again at 68 to try something new. School is something that can be done at any age and almost anywhere nowadays.
I'm smiling all on my own here as I write to you. It's so nice to be able to write freely after such a long time. Hoping we can be friends as well!!

My daughter is supposed to be in bed an hour ago, but since she goes to nursery -only the days I have classes- we don't get to spend much time together, I just let things slide,
Nursery, Oh nursery.. The place that messes your kid and puts all your efforts to waste, she now stands up and tells me - literally, and yes using English- " STOP IT MOMMY, BAD GIRL" then she leaves..
The lovely quite hours, look forward to them -naughty mommy- , i'm watching a series these days, called "better call saul" if you're interested. I'd only recommend it if you've already watched "breaking bad"
Sara, so nice talking to you
Thank you

Just wrote a whole post from my phone and it got erased. Horrible platform they're using here. Everything is skewed in the wrong direction and even when formatted the punctuation is still off.
Anyway, where were we? Oh nurseries. Yeah they either make it or break it when it comes to kids and I've tried both. However, I think your little one is just going through a phase. She's trying out all the new awesome phrases from daycare with you. My two-year-old has also been talking up a storm lately. Getting her to stop talking is the trick!!
Maybe I'm strange but I don't watch TV. We don't even have one at our current place. At our place last year, although we had a set, we didn't have cable or any of these services. We have a subscription with Netflix and only use it to entertain the kids every now and then. I guess as the family grew, so did the demands, and my ability to keep up with series faded away. I keep consoling myself that I've got 16 more .years, just 16, until my youngest is 18 years old, hehehe

I had a nap after Asr prayer and hence I'm still wide awake. Not sure when the effect will wear off
