Salam Hanan, our new participant, and all,
First of all, welcome onboard our new friend from Sudan! Lovely to have people from vast parts of our Arab nation all here together. Studying pharmacy you say? It's a great profession so good for you. Two of siblings are pharmacists as well.
I've been away for a couple of days since we finally made the move to our new place. We couldn't wait to get out of our old place. The moment the beds got delivered we were out lol. Our new place is rather small but the location is great. We're right across from a mosque and an adjacent park. I don't have to worry about the boys when they go to pray. School is a five minute drive or a fifteen minute walk so that's a huge plus as well.
The weather nowadays is absolutely gorgeous. During daytime it's been around 18-20 degrees Celsius. I still can't justify putting jackets on my kids in this weather. However, whenever I'm out with my girls in their capris and short sleeve tees I get these " you're crazy" looks from people. Yesterday, a cashier finally spoke up and said "It pretty cold outside and your girls aren't wearing jackets. They're going to get sick". I replied saying it's better for them not to overdress and if they do get sick, they'll get better immunity for the future inshallah. I still got a " you're crazy" look from her hehe.
Hanan, did you get rid of that pessimistic halo you had a few days back? How's your mother-in-law doing?

Salam!
Good luck with your studies..
Friends won't make you life any better, we need good friends, yes of course, but I won't associate my life's value with people involved in it...

Salam sara,
happy for you dear!
There's a Moroccan saying"تبدال المنازل راحة"
it means that moving houses is comforting..
َHope you enjoy your new house..
I live in Fez, and giirl it's freezing cold.. but still, I hate it when people give themselves the right to comment on my daughter clothes
at first, I was explaining, well no, you shouldn't wear lots of clothes, it's rather harming, bla bla bla .. but NO, whenever we meet, they start saying the same things over and over again..
Hamdulillah, she's getting better, thank you!

Salam all, Long time no write :-) I've been swamped with the move and getting things into order and I'm not even close to getting done. I'm very particular about my drawers, closets, and storage places. However, once I'm done then I find that things go smoother on a day-to-day basis. Hanan, how are you girl? Miss talking to you!! You say Fez? Googled it and came up with some beautiful city images mashallah! One day I'll tour the world and at least you'll be my guide in Morocco! I can be yours in Canada and the US. Deal?I was so tired today I fell asleep around 7 pm and woke up shortly after midnight. Got up to find 3.5 kilos of shrimp waiting to be portioned and frozen. Apparently while I was asleep, my dear husband found his way to a newly discovered fish market and wanted to check out the shrimp there. We'll see how it cooks up. I'd better try to get some sleep. Fajer is only a few hours away. Later
