بسم الله .. نبدأ مع موضوعنا الثالث وهو : capital letters

كلنا عارفين انو الجملة لازم تبدأ ب capital letter . بس هناك استخدامات تانية لل capital letters نشوف مع بعض.

1- الضمير I دائما يكون بل capital letter بغض النظر عن موقعه في الجملة.

2- تستخدم ايضا مع اسماء الاشخاص ، الاماكن، البلدان ،المحيطات. امثلة
James Joyce, Great Britain, Pacific Ocean

في بعض الملاحظات المهمة المرتبطة بهذه النقطة:
اسماء الانهار والسلاسل الجبلية والمحيطات البتتكون من اكتر من إسم بنستخدم capital letters مع الكلمتين

بالنسبة لاتجاهات البوصلة بنستخدم معاها capital letters إذا كانت جزء من إسم دولة،منطقة جغرافية ، أو مدينة. نشوف امثلة
بنقول: On the north side of town
بس هنا بتكون : North America ، استخدمنا ال capital letter لان كلمة north جزء من إسم القارة

تستخدم ايضا عن كتابة لفظ الجلالة او الكتب الدينية: the Holy Quran, The Bible

3- نستخدمها ايضا مع ايام الاسبوع واشهر السنة. بس ما بنستعملها مع الفصول (الربيع - الشتاء-الخريف- الصيف)
On the first Thursday in July, we are flying to America.

4- نستخدمها في الكلمات الرئيسية في عنوان كتاب ،مسرحية، فيلم، برنامج تلفزيوني
مثال: The Adventures of the Three Musketeers

5- في بداية كل سطر من ابيات الشعر

6- كل كلمة في العنوان تبدأ ب capital letter

7- الالقاب البادئة والاختصارات تكتب ب capital letter

الالقاب نكتبها ب capital letter إذا رمزت لشخص محدد بذاته ، اي بامكاننا حذف اللقب واستخدام اسم الشخص مكانه
The Prime Minister of Great Britain lives at 10,Downing Street,London.
لو كنا نتحدث عن من يحملون هذا اللقب عموما فلا نستخدم ال capital letters

8- أول كلمة نقولها في ال direct speech تكون capital letter
مثال: Sara asked, ''Will you go shopping with me, James?''

تبدأ مع الموضوع الرابع وهو The question mark

شي بديهي انو علامة الاستفهام (؟) بتجي في نهاية الجملة بتسأل سؤال. إذا سمعت أي جملة تتطلب إجابة فهي سؤال. نشوف مثال:
Will you come to my house after school tonight?

نأخذ بالنا وما نلخبط المثال السابق بالمثال الحنشرحو الآن:
David asked if he was in the football team this week.

هذه الجملة reports ما قاله ديفيد فهي ليست بسؤال ولذا لا نستخدم علامة ؟

إن شاء الله النقاط تكون واضحة. إليكم التمرين 4 ، فالتمارين خير برهان على الفهم والاستيعاب :21:.
